Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PryMap (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our B2B software-as-a-service platform, rendering engine, and associated websites (collectively, the “Services”).
PryMap operates on a strict principle of data minimization: we only collect the data necessary to provide and secure our engineering tools. We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of your proprietary laboratory data, and we will never sell your personal information or use your proprietary failure analysis data to train artificial intelligence models.
1. Our Role as a Data Processor
In the context of global data protection laws, PryMap acts primarily as a Data Processor regarding the engineering data, component layouts, and failure parameters you input into the Services (“Customer Proprietary Data”). You, the client, remain the Data Controller of this information. We process this data strictly to render your canvas, generate reports, and facilitate your workflows as outlined in our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account and Administrative Data
- Identity & Contact: Name, professional email address, and authentication credentials required to provision and secure your account.
- Billing Information: Payment details and billing addresses. Note: Raw payment credentials are securely transmitted directly to our PCI-compliant payment processors and are never stored on PryMap servers.
B. Customer Proprietary Data
- Engineering Inputs: Grid dimensions, customized dye penetration parameters, failure interface modes, and saved configurations uploaded or generated within the workspace.
C. Automated Telemetry & Logs
- System Logs: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and timestamped access logs necessary for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
- Performance Metrics: Aggregated, strictly anonymized data regarding canvas rendering speeds and tool usage to help us optimize the performance of the software.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information strictly for the following operational purposes:
- To authenticate users, provide the Services, and execute your requested data exports and visual reports.
- To process subscription payments and deliver administrative notices, invoices, and security alerts.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access, and other illegal activities.
- To analyze aggregated system performance to improve the speed and reliability of the rendering engine.
4. International Data Transfers
PryMap operates globally, with core operations based in Malaysia. By utilizing the Services, you acknowledge and agree that your data, including Account Data and Customer Proprietary Data, may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other global regions where our sub-processors maintain data centers.
We rely on legally recognized transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to ensure that any cross-border data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and maintain the security of your information.
5. Third-Party Sub-Processors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. To provide enterprise-grade reliability and security, we utilize vetted third-party sub-processors for core infrastructure (such as cloud hosting, database management, authentication, and payment processing).
These sub-processors are legally bound by strict confidentiality and data protection obligations. A current, up-to-date directory of the vendors authorized to process Customer Proprietary Data and Account Data is maintained on our platform.

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest via our sub-processors. However, no digital transmission is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your Account Data and Customer Proprietary Data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation or formal request for deletion, we will permanently purge your proprietary templates and identifying information from our active databases within 30 days, retaining only the minimal administrative data legally required for tax and financial compliance.
7. Tracking Technologies
PryMap utilizes essential cookies necessary for the operation of the platform (such as maintaining secure authenticated sessions). We do not deploy third-party tracking pixels for cross-site behavioral advertising or targeted marketing.
8. Policy Modifications
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy as our software evolves or legal regulations change. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders via email or a prominent notice within the application dashboard prior to the changes taking effect.
9. Contact Information
To provide you with the most efficient support possible, we operate a single, unified inquiry channel for both enterprise and technical support requests. If you have questions regarding this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us via our unified channel at prymap.com/#contact.
